Workgroup and Brabners have teamed up to put on a festive show, including an evening of comedy, chemistry and even magic! 🪄

5.00pm - welcome drinks, nibbles and magic! 🍹🪄 6.30pm - comedy from Abby Rolling, a criminal defence solicitor and standup comedian! 🎭 7.00pm - big festive canapés 😋 and magic! 🪄 7.45pm - gin experience, with the Gin Laboratory, where you make your own gin combination, and take it home! 🍸 9.00pm - drinks till late! 💃🕺

🍸🧪 Gin Laboratory:

Usually, in gin-making – the flavours, recipes and how to’s are shrouded in secrecy… but not anymore!

Experience the science + art of gin with a hands-on session from the Gin Laboratory. Enjoy a fun sciency experience guided by Kenneth – the Gin Maker himself!

You'll be using all manner of pipettes, syringes, and beakers. You’ll explore the flavours and elements of gin, before blending them together to create 3 gins to enjoy with ice, lime + tonic. 

🎭 Comedy:

Dark. Funny. Underfunded. And that's just Abby.

The criminal justice system is too. In August 2022, Abby Rolling made her Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut, performing her sell out hour-long stand-up comedy and storytelling show. The show sold out again in 2023 and 2024.

Abby has practiced as a criminal defence solicitor for almost thirty years, obtaining her Higher Rights in 2000. She's a standup performer and writer of real wit and originality, tackling some difficult material with her laser insight and bleak northern humour.‘
